The Trustees are delighted to announce

Her Majesty Queen Camilla

Will officially open Bromham Community Hub on

Tuesday 28th October 2025

After years of planning, building and teamwork, the brand-new Bromham Community Hub is officially opening its doors and the whole village is invited to join the celebrations! It is time for us all to celebrate together!

At 11:20, the event begins on the rear patio of the Hub with a very special moment in Bromham’s history. In recognition of 61 years’ service, with 25 years as Chairman of Bromham Parish Council, the Chair of Wiltshire Council, Laura Mayes will award

Mr Peter Paget

The Freedom of the Parish of Bromham

At 12:00, Her Majesty Queen Camilla will arrive at Bromham Community Hub.

Spectators are welcome to line the car park in designated areas to greet Her Majesty

At 12.05 Her Majesty Queen Camilla will meet some members of the invited audience inside the Hub and will unveil a plaque commemorating the official opening of the new building. The audience includes major donors from the village, village supporters, the Wednesday Club cycle ride/landscape team, the Hub open gardens/planting team, the Parish Council, representatives from all village groups, grant funders, and the construction team. All, who by working together, have helped and given their support to bring the vision to life.

At approximately 12:30, Her Majesty will come onto Millennium Field and will view the Hub landscaping and planting schemes, visit a special display of Bromham Produce from V&P Collins, be presented with a portrait of dogs, and then at approximately 12.40 together with Serena Dalby will plant a tree in honour of Craig Dalby who was one of Her Majesty’s close protection officers before he retired.

We simply cannot fit the whole village inside the building so let’s also celebrate outside on the Millennium Field as well, where we hope to see you all!

Come and enjoy the atmosphere, line the edge of the car park and give Her Majesty Queen Camilla the warmest Bromham welcome possible!

In the marquees and on Millennium Field around The Hub, there’ll be delicious food and drinks from:

The Greyhound, The Westbrook, Quince and Alfie Fletcher.

Plus stalls and displays from local groups and community organisations.

Everyone is welcome — this is YOUR Hub, built for our community!

Come along, celebrate Bromham’s amazing spirit, our remarkable achievement in the face of adversity and commemorate the opening of our new space that will serve the village for generations to come.
