Bookings for events raising money for Local Charities - same as Resident rates.
The Community Hub is a charity, and its aim is to support the residents of Bromham, local organisations and local charities. It is not a profit-making organisation and is obligated to follow regulations put in place by the Charity Commission.
The regulations state that any fundraising must be for local charities with funds raised benefiting the local community directly. What this means is that national charities and others outside of the local community fail to qualify and any events to raise money directly for them must be charged a higher rate and not the subsidised rate.
