Celebrating a Magical Bromham Carnival

Bromham Community Hub- Carnival 2026

What a day! If your legs aren’t aching and your voice isn’t slightly hoarse, did you even really attend the Bromham Carnival yesterday?

The village truly outdid itself. The festivities kicked off at 2:00 PM sharp with the spectacular procession winding its way through the streets, putting on a magnificent show before arriving at the Millennium Field. From the stunning lineup of classic cars to the endless laughter at the children’s fairground, the atmosphere was electric from start to finish.

Naturally, nobody went hungry. Between the sizzling barbecue, excellent food stalls, ice creams, and the highly competitive raffles, there was plenty to keep everyone going all day long. Over at the Hub, our very own Lou and Matt worked absolute wonders keeping the wheels turning during a brilliant, packed day. The Hub terrace was the ultimate hotspot for a relaxing drink while soaking in the sunshine.

The entertainment kept us moving all day long. We were treated to fantastic dancing, brilliant live music from the choir, and the traditional spectacle of the morris dancers. And for those with any energy left, Bromfest took over into the evening, delivering incredible live music that kept the village rocking well after dark.

A Huge Thank You An event of this scale doesn't just happen by magic (as much as Jon wishes the website updates did). A massive, heartfelt thank you goes out to Peter Hindle, Cathy Welch, and the tireless Carnival Committee for their monumental hard work in organising such a flawless day.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to Lou and Matt, and their team for keeping the Hub running beautifully under pressure, and to every single volunteer, performer, and resident who came out to support us.
