Praise from the Judges
The panel at the Business Insider South West Awards offered high praise for Oxford Architects, stating:
"OA Architecture stood out to the judges for their careful and intelligent architectural decision-making, showing real expertise working across sectors at different scales of project."
In a heartfelt message to clients and partners following the win, Tony Mullen, Partner Architect in charge of the Bromham project, shared:
"An amazing achievement for our studio of 17 talented and passionate designers who work so hard to create great architecture in our built environment. But to our clients—we simply couldn’t have done it without you—so a heartfelt thanks to you first and foremost, for your support, continued patronage and collaboration over the years. It means everything to us."
A Proud Collaboration for Bromham
For everyone involved in rebuilding the Hub following the 2021 fire, seeing Tony Mullen, BCH Project Architect Phillippa Courcoux, and the whole 17-strong studio recognized on this regional stage is a hugely proud moment.
As Sue Wilkinson noted upon hearing the news, "We did make a good choice to appoint them for our project!"
Oxford Architects worked side-by-side with our village to turn a vision into a modern, vibrant, and accessible home for Bromham. You can read OA Architecture's full feature on their design work and how the building sits at the heart of our village in their journal article, Revisiting Bromham Community Hub.
A massive congratulations to Tony, Phillippa, and the entire team at OA Architecture from everyone in Bromham!
