Highly Commended at the Prince of Wales Awards!

On Thursday, 28th May, our very own Sue Wilkinson and Richard Dyke headed down to the Royal Bath & West Showground, where they took to the main stage for the presentation of the prestigious Prince of Wales Award 2026! πŸ‘‘πŸŒΎ

We are absolutely thrilled to share that out of 25 fantastic project applications from across the entire West Country, the Bromham Community Hub was officially Highly Commended!

Here is Richard looking incredibly proud holding our official certificate right after the ceremony. πŸ“ΈπŸ‘‡

Bromham Community Hub - Bath and West Show 2026

The Prince of Wales Award specifically celebrates community resilience, self-help, and volunteer-led spirit. For the judges to single out the Hub for such high praise across Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Bristol, and Gloucestershire is a massive achievement for our village.

A huge congratulations to the overall winners, The Hoppiness Project in Bristol (a wonderful initiative helping dementia residents grow hops and brew beer), as well as our fellow finalists Aishah's Food Charity and Grow for Life. Sharing a stage with such inspiring projects was an absolute honor.

This certificate belongs to EVERY single resident, volunteer, committee member, and supporter who helped rebuild our beautiful Hub from the ashes and continues to put the "heart" back into Bromham every single day. Thank you, everyoneβ€”this is your achievement! πŸ¦‰β€οΈ
